ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF USE

When you use our page and associated links, @lendtheluxe and all Lend the Luxe limited services, you agree to follow our Terms of Use & Services (TOS). These terms, along with any other rules posted on our page, govern your use of the page and the services we provide. By using the service, visiting or browsing the page, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use and any future changes we make to them. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our service. Please note that we have the right to modify this agreement in the future, and any changes will apply to our rental process. These Terms of Use are a legally binding agreement between you and Lend the Luxe limited, so it is important to read them carefully.


This agreement contains all the terms and conditions that govern your rental/ purchase from Lend the Luxe limited. No different or other terms and conditions have any effect.


Our terms of use are governed by UK law.

By agreeing to these terms, you are giving Lend the Luxe limited the right to use your details such as your email address for promotional and advertising campaigns.


Lend the Luxe limited reserves the right to, without previous notice, suspend or discontinue the website for maintenance, repairs or modernisation.


HOW DOES LENDTHELUXE WORK?


Lend the Luxe limited provides a simple service for renting beautiful designer dresses. Here’s how it works:


1. Browse our website and choose a dress you want to rent for your special occasion


2. Purchase your rental, choosing the required rental dates using our calendar booking system on each item and make your payment via checkout- powered by stripe. There are multiple payment options to choose from including PayPal and Klarna.


3. We will send the dress to you via Royal Mail’s 24hr or 48hr tracked - it will have a security ribbon attached to it - please note, once removed you can consider the dress rented, so please ensure that you try the dress for sizing before removing it


4. Wear the dress at your event and feel like a million dollars, and don’t forget to tag us! @lendtheluxe


5. When you’re done, simply send the dress back to us using the prepaid label and package that came with the dress - don’t worry about washing the dress, we will take care of that!


Our service allows you to access our page and rent designer dresses according to our Terms of Use. You can select the dress or dresses you want from our unique collection, and we will ship them to your chosen address. The rental period ends on the designated return date. If you do not send the dress back to us by the chosen return date, we reserve the right to charge you £10 for each day the dress is overdue.


PRICES


The prices of our dresses are charged per dress, and they may differ based on the specific model and designer. These prices are subject to change at our discretion. You can view the price of each dress on each unique product page, and Lend the Luxe limited may change prices at any given time. Please note, prices depend on the length of time the item is required, for example, if you require the dress 4 days you will incur no extra cost; if you require the dress for 7 days there is an additional cost of £5, £10 for 10 days & £15 for 14 days. If you require the item for more than a 14 day period, please contact us and we will be happy to advise further.


DELIVERY


Delivery time for the designer dress you have hired may vary based upon product availability, customer delivery address, when you place an order, and any other circumstances that could impact delivery. Accordingly, Lend the Luxe limited makes no guarantees as to actual delivery time. We will send you an email letting you know when your product is shipped along with your Royal Mail tracking number to allow you to keep track of when your order will arrive.

We send our designer dresses to our customers via UK Royal Mail 24hr or 48hr Tracked. The total price of posting the dress to you and you sending it back to us on the date chosen is £9.95 which covers all costs of postage and packaging, this is added at checkout.


Royal Mail guarantees that your chosen dress will be with you on your chosen rental start date. Your tracking reference will be readily available via the email sent to you confirming shipping. Please ensure someone is in for the parcel as a signature is required in order to pass the dress over to you.


We hire our designer dresses to you on the understanding that they are returned in an undamaged condition.
If your dress is due to be delivered on a Saturday, please note that the delivery charge will be £3.00 extra than a midweek delivery.


RETURNS & HIRING CONDITIONS


As the hirer of our dresses, you are solely responsible for taking good care of them. Minor spills and small marks are inevitable, and we have professional dry cleaners and a seamstress to maintain the dresses. However, if a dress is returned in a damaged or dirty condition that goes beyond normal wear and tear, determined at our discretion, you agree that we may charge you for the repair cost or the full cost of replacing the dress if it cannot be repaired. The replacement fee varies for each dress.
During the rental period, you should not make any alterations or additions to the dress or interfere with it in any way. If you do, we have the right to charge you for the cost of repairs or for replacing the dress entirely.


You, the customer, are responsible for loss or damage to the dress during the rental period, such as theft, fire, severe stains and any other causes. If the dress is returned with any of these damages, you will be required to pay the full retail price as listed in our price lists. Please inform us immediately of any damage that occurs to the dress while you have it.


If you do not return the rented dress to us, we reserve the right to charge the customer the full retail price that Lend the Luxe limited paid for the dress.
Each dress price varies depending on designer of the dress.


We strongly advise keeping the proof of delivery receipt when sending the dress back to us. If we do not receive the dress and you cannot provide proof of delivery, we may charge your card, which is securely stored via the stripe payment link, the full retail price. Again, the retail selling price of the dress at the time of rental will vary for each dress.


Under no circumstances should you attempt to clean the dress yourself, such as dry cleaning, washing it or any other means. If you do so and damage the dress, we have the right to charge you for either a partial or full replacement value of the dress.


If the dress is not returned to us at Lend the Luxe limited on the first working day after the event date you selected at checkout, we reserve the right to charge you £10 for each day the dress is not returned back to us, as you are preventing other customers from renting that dress.

If you have any pictures of yourself wearing the rented dress, please either email them to us at: info@lendtheluxe.co.uk or send them to us via our Instagram page. We may upload these to the gallery section of our link and share them on our Instagram page to showcase customer feedback to other Lend the Luxe limited customers.


BILLING


When you rent a dress from Lend the Luxe limited, you will be required to provide us with accurate and current debit/credit card information for a valid debit/credit card that you are authorised to use. By signing up for the service, you are allowing Lend the Luxe limited to bill your credit/debit card the applicable fees, shipping charges, and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of our dress hire. The applicable fees will be charged to your credit/debit card. If your designer dress is not returned on the due return date agreed when the purchase was made, Lend the Luxe limited have the right to charge your credit/debit card at a rate of £10 each day the dress is kept by you over your return date as chosen at check out, until we receive the dress back to our offices.


If Lend the Luxe limited does not receive payment from your credit/debit card provider or if your credit/debit card expires or is rejected, you will be contacted by the Lend the Luxe limited team immediately.


You are solely responsible for any and all fees charged to your credit/debit card by the issuer and bank but not limited to overdraft or use insufficient funds or go over your credit/debit limit fees.


CANCELLATION: COSTS AND REFUNDS


You may return a rented designer dress and receive a refund for any reason such as, the dress does not fit, you do not like the dress etc. You have 24 hours to return the dress to us in the original state it was sent to you, with the ‘Lend the Luxe’ security ribbon still intact on the dress to receive a full refund from us (minus shipping costs of £9.95). You must deposit the item for return at your local post office either the day or day after you receive the parcel. Most post offices close at 5pm. Unless advised by Lend the Luxe limited, should a product be kept longer by the customer than the 24 hour period for returns, Lend the Luxe limited reserves the right to charge the full rental fee and reject a refund.


Please complete your return via our Returns Portal on our website if you wish to return a dress. If you wish to request to keep an item overnight which you do not wish to wear to your event, please contact us on info@lendtheluxe.co.uk


If the Lend the Luxe security ribbon is not intact on the dress, as stated above, or the dress is not in its original condition, therefore has marks of being worn, we will take this as the dress has been worn and reserve the right to charge you the full amount of the product rental and reject a refund. We strongly reiterate that you, the customer, in this occasion ensure the security ribbon remains on the dress and that you remove any fake tan or makeup prior to trying the dress for sizing.


On the rare occasion that when the dress is inspected by you, the customer, and defects are found, please contact us immediately by phone, email, or Instagram and make us aware of the alleged defect, damage, or any other faults so we can assist you further with your hire.


If you wish to cancel your order BEFORE it is posted out to you, please let us know as soon as you can by contacting customer service on info@lendtheluxe.co.uk and we will be happy to take care of this for you and refund you. Once you have tried on the dress and kept it for more than 24 hours we will not be able to give you a refund.


By placing an order with Lend the Luxe limited designer dress hire, you are offering to rent a product and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.


Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are limited to mainland UK and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays for which we will not be held responsible for.


PLACING AN ORDER


When you place an order, you should receive an email to confirm receipt of your order. We can only accept your order once payment has been approved.
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.


OUR PRODUCTS


Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our page are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images.


DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS


The costs of delivery will be displayed to you at checkout. We use Royal Mail 24hr or 48hr Tracked Delivery to deliver our orders. Any delivery time or date given by Lend the Luxe limited to the user is an estimate only. If the item is delivered late the user must accept delivery unless a non-delivery agreement is reached in advance between Lend the Luxe limited and the user.


We are not responsible for delivery delays outside our control. If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.


If after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery or collect them from a delivery depot we will contact you for further instructions and may charge you for storage costs and any further delivery costs. If, despite our reasonable efforts we are unable to contact you or re-arrange delivery or collection we may end the contract.

CANCELLATION


User cancellation: If the User cancels an order up to 24 hours from when the order is placed they are entitled to a full refund minus shipping costs. If an order is cancelled after 24 hours from when the order is placed, we reserve the right to reject your cancellation. To cancel an order, the user must give written notice

Lend the Luxe limited cancellation: In certain circumstances we may need to cancel an order before it has been dispatched to the user.

PRICE AND PAYMENT


The price of the item will be the price indicated on the product when you have selected your rental period and placed your order. We take reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct.
It is always possible that, despite our reasonable efforts, some of the products we sell may incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the product’s correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If the product’s correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your order.
Prices include VAT (where applicable).

HOW WE MAY USE PERSONAL INFORMATION


We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

THE GARMENT


You acknowledge that:
• the images on the page are of the actual garment fitted to a model or mannequin and that the garment may not fit you in the same way;
• the images which you see on your screen will differ from those we upload in terms of colour and definition and that we do not guarantee that the colours you see will match the actual garment;
• you will examine and try on the garment immediately following its delivery and tell us without delay if it has any form of damage, does not fit, or is in any way short of the description we have supplied on the page;
• the value of the garment is that we have advised on the page;


OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS


We may transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.
Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of breaking this contract, this will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings. These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in English courts.

PRELOVED ITEMS

Pre-loved items may contain minor flaws or show signs of wear. Any flaws will be highlighted from the photos and description. Please ensure you have read the description before committing to purchase. We are always happy to provide more detailed photos, measurements or information if requested. Please note that we do not accept returns on pre-loved items.
